so i had the best thanksgiving ever.
his mom messaged me on FB to say she’s thankful i’ve been in his life and she knows that he’s not the easiest person to deal with but as a mom, she’s happy he has “a good woman by his side.”
i got all teary eyed and happy.
far different from my thanksgiving last year.
so im sitting across Danny eating taco bell and he lifts up one of the salsa packets up to his lips and moves his eyebrows up and down at me
it took me a good moment to realize the packet said “will you marry me.”
and this was my reaction:
I just wanna not be upset but once I feel my stomach do that upset flip flop I gotta wait before I cheer my own ass up
family’s coming back from El Salvador after being there for a month and a half. do you know what these means?

jesuspearlbratpack asked: She did not deserve to Win,sure she is humble and shit but she was not the best prepared in that competition and its not about nationality cus i had rather The colombian,Dominican and even Puerto rico to win over her, she was the least prepared she sold them with her sob story and that is why she won nothing else.
She sold them with her sob story. Because a contestant is NOT supposed to have a difficult life and be proud on how long she’s come right? Because GOD FORBID a contestant says “My life wasn’t easy. This is why. This is what I want to do if I do win.” I’m sure if she didn’t say a word about her damn life, people would have found other reasons why she “cheated” or “won unfairly.”
You’re entitled to your own opinion. All those who voted for her disagree. I disagree. I have a Puerto Rican friend who doesn’t agree with me and believes her girl should have won. Fine.
But it’s a WHOLE OTHER STORY when people start to call her MONA (which is a racial slur to many races btw) and UGLY and be so HORRIBLE. The favorited people didn’t win. SHE did. That’s the end of that story. Protest all you want, but one of the judges said she had something special. And many people agreed. She was great and the fact that she was ALSO Salvadoran is what made us so proud of her.
SO sure. Be mad. People can disagree like after competitions because that’s what always happens. But she’s come a LONG way. She got off her ass and became someone awesome, whether you think she was prepared for this or not.
And NO ONE should try to say otherwise.
